We’re Ready to Rip

Liquid Dreams Surf Shop has a full staff of core surf instructors that are stoked to get you up and riding.  Whether you are a beginner looking to ride your first wave or looking to progress in the sport of surfing our staff is more than willing to give you the coaching you need.  We offer group lessons that have a ratio of 4 surfers to 1 instructor, and private lessons that have a ration of 1 surfer to 1 instructor.  Which ever you choose we know you will be leaving the beach stoked and ready for your next session.

Liquid Dreams is offering Ride the 5 surf camp for the 5th summer in a row for kids ages 8 to 19! We had a great time with this camp last summer, and we're STOKED to offer it again this year! This camp is designed to teach all 5 wave and watercraft activities LDS has to offer: surfing, boogie boarding, skimboarding, stand up paddling, and body surfing... all in 5 days!

Each day , the Ride the 5 camp will begin at 10 am at our Long Sands location in York, where students will be equipped with wetsuits and surfboards for a 1 - 2 hour morning surf lesson. Following the lesson, the students will break for lunch, and maybe a sandcastle or two... After lunch, students will learn another of the water activities that best fit the conditions that day. Ride the 5 camp will break at 3pm every day, with student pickup at 3:15. Students should bring a pack lunch, bathing suit, towel, and sunscreen.

Ride the 5 camp will have 5 or less students per instructor, with a cost of $495 per student. Cost includes all necessary equipment, instruction from some of the best watermen in New England, as well as discounts on surf equipment packages. Camps will be offered weekly from June 17 through August 23, with a minimum of 5 students and a maximum of 10 students. Space is limited. Reservations may be made over the phone once our lesson book is available. Please call our shop in Ogunquit with any questions!

Surf camps are offered weekly all summer, from 5pm to 7 pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings at our Longsands shop in York beach or at 10am to noon and 3pm to 5pm in Ogunquit. This camp is for ages 10 and up. For $180, students will work on the fundamentals of surfing over the course of 3 days, and will most certainly be RIPPING by Friday. This is our most popular program for those looking for more time in the water than a single 2hr lesson.

Little Rippers Camp is available for beginner surfers ages 6-9 from 8am-9am! Little Rippers Camps are MON-WED-FRI all summer long at our York Beach location. Students will work on the fundamentals of surfing over the course of 3 days, and will be RIPPING by Friday. This is the best camp for kids AGES 6-9, bar none!

Kids camp is held on Thursday night from 5:30-7:00pm at Moody South Beach right down the street from the flag ship Liquid Dreams location. Kids nights must be booked in advance, both parents and children AGES 6-14 must come to our shop at 5:00pm to be outfitted with wetsuit, boards, and paperwork to be handled by parents. After that, we will transport the children (parents are more than welcome to come) to Footbridge beach for an hour and a half of surfing. Your instructors will guide you though the fundamentals of surfing, including paddling, how to stand, riding, ocean safety and wave selection. 3:1 student to instructor ratio! 

Private lessons are available for those who prefer to take a lesson alone, or with a friend or two, at a time of their choosing. You must request this service in advance. 

LESSONS

LDS surf lessons can be scheduled for anyday  at 8am or 5pm at LDS in York.  Lessons can be scheduled at 10am and 3pm at our Ogunquit Shop 2hrs long!  This is our number one program! Your instructors will guide you though the fundamentals of surfing, including paddling, how to stand, riding, ocean safety and wave selection.

The Sport of Standup Paddleboarding (SUP) is exploding worldwide and here in Maine. Men, women and children of ages 10 and up are giving it a go..Standup Paddleboarding is a sport anyone can enjoy! 

LDS STAND UP PADDLE LESSONS
Everyday and cost $70 per person, including equipment... Learn how to tackle the surf on a SUP! This is a group lesson lasting 2 hours with maximum student to instructor ratio of 5:1

PRIVATE SUP LESSONS
$105 for 2hrs. Private lessons are available for those who prefer to take a lesson alone, or with a friend or two at a time of their choosing. You must request this service in advance.

FLAT WATER GROUP LESSONS
At the times of high tide. We will post the Times of the Lessons each week. Lessons are 1.5 hours and cost $70 per person.

Thursday evenings at 5pm Liquid Dreams offers a one hour ladies only surf lesson at Long Sands. Meet at our York store on Longsands at quarter to 5  to get outfitted with a wetsuit and board! This is a awesome time...
