St’PATTYs Swell
Monday, March 22nd, 2010 It was quite a week of swell with all types of surf and weather conditions. It all started that Sunday with hard cold NE winds, BIG SURF and tons of rain. Monday started off with the York shop basement flooding with cold heavy rains for most of the day, the winds were still ENE. After bailing out the basement the York/OGT crew still got wet at one of those secret spots up Maine. Tuesday thru Friday was a New England Surfers dream come true with offshore winds, great waves and HOT air temps. It really felt like spring/summer last week with the sounds of motorcyles on the roads, people in shorts and longer days. I hope you all got to enjoy that preview of what’s coming just around the corner.. M
